This is a gold strain guppy with a snakeskin pattern on the male's body. This guppy also has the glass belly, which means you can see into the belly of the fish, making it easy to see the babies develop in the female belly. This type of guppy is also the short body variant. They are selectively bred to have a shorter body, similar to ballon Mollies.
Plants are not required, but highly recommended.
They will be a great addition to any guppy community tank that wants more colors, or can be kept in a strain only tank.
These are great fish for all levels of fish keeping, ranging from beginner to expert.
